Sharedband and BT have recently joined hands to launch a new, faster ADSL broadband service in Lincolnshire, which is said to be extremely beneficial to businesses.
The technology will give speeds of up to four ADSL lines clubbed together. This means that many of the important tasks for businesses such as Voice over Internet Protocol calls, virtual private networks, video conferencing and so on, will now be made much easier.
Talking about how the company has benefited from the new technology, IT manager for Lincolnshire-based Househam Sprayer, Stephen Heath, said that they now got 2MB upstream speeds, which was much better than what other providers offered. The download speeds too have doubled.
Heath said that the connection works well with the company’s existing Virtual Private Network. Therefore, it helps in providing users and remote offices a secure access to their broadband network, which is good for businesses and home users alike. For security conscious home broadband users, click on family broadband, for some excellent information.
Even rural areas can enjoy the advantages of this service; except that the broadband speed is comparatively less if they are located at some distance from the exchange.
The BT Local Business support is available by dialling 01522 814400. Those interested in taking up this service for their business in Lincolnshire can call up at this number and select option 3 for signing up.
